About Classes
I love being a Christian Yoga, Holy Yoga, Yahweh Yoga, and Faith-based Yoga Teacher!
My heart is to guide you through a practice that helps you connect to the living God, yourself, and others so that on the mat and off, you can live in His confidence and freedom.
Christian Yoga is a spiritual discipline and a moving meditation with a therapeutic approach physically, emotionally, and spiritually for all bodies and all levels.
In my classes, we take a much-needed break from the world’s distractions to remember and affirm who we are and whose we are. God’s beloved, His workmanship, made in His image, chosen, a new creation, more than a conqueror, fearfully and wonderfully made for a purpose.
We move, breathe, connect, stretch, release, rest and heal in Christ, replacing the day’s stresses with His goodness.
With effective alignment and prayerful postures, this practice will help you get stronger and softer from the inside out.
The natural by-products of this methodology are increased and improved awareness, circulation, flexibility, posture, stamina, and overall health and well-being.
Intentional breath work is a vital part of life and connects us to Spirit. It sends oxygen to the bloodstream, removes carbon dioxide, releases toxins and tension, and generates a relaxation response that calms the nervous system.
We invite the Lord to help us explore all the places that need to be free, allowing us to come home to our bodies, creating space for a deeper union with God, thus healing and wholeness.
We transform when we lift our heart’s intention, meditate on scripture, and worship in community with other like-minded souls.
Join us, and together we’ll reclaim our God-given design and walk out His purpose for our lives with greater joy.
PROPS:
Get your own mat, block & belt. Personal props allow you to modify/design, enhance, deepen your practice, and honor your body where it’s at.
Your mat is a sacred space; get your favorite color, or write something that reminds you of why you practice. This holy ground is where you commit to the discipline of being Christ-centered, embracing the essence of who we were created to be.
